Imagine showing up for a blind date and the girl you're going
out with is sitting there in a wedding dress. That's the premise
behind this one-woman play about Izzy, who arrives too early for
her blind date and spends her time freaking out about what her
date is going to think of her. Shannan Calcutt is excellent in
her portrayal of the neurotic chatterbox Izzy, and she brings
you right into the show by asking if she's pretty -- and expecting
a response. At one point, she even got an audience member to sit
on the stage and kiss her. It's non-stop laughter from beginning
to end.
