"Izzy strikes again! Izzy rules!
If you have followed her story from the prior episodes, (and even if you haven't) this is a must see.
Izzy has finally found herself - or has she? - and she has no problem informing all of us of the details of her new found awareness and freedom. But in the tradition of really intense clowning, the audience is still left with a sense of potential disaster, a feeling that all may not be right in the future.
It is this sense of growth that has endeared Izzy to me. She is a clown, but is still completely accessible. You know that you can laugh with her and that you will also inevitably cry with her. Kudos to the two very brave and cooperative audience members who assisted her through a very long segment of the show. We were in stitches. I hope Shannan finds two equally responsive victims for every show she does. Has Izzy come full circle? Only Shannan knows for sure. If Izzy returns we will welcome her with open arms and hearts. If another character emerges, she too will have a family here at the Fringe to come home to."

"This was my first exposure to Izzy, and I was exposed to quite a bit of her. I've been hearing the hype for Burnt Tounge and It's Me Only Better for years now, but never managed to get in to see what all the fuss was about (every show was sold out). Izzy was worth the wait. Laughter never felt so good. If you go, and I suggest that you do, take someone you love (or hate) and sit them next to the aisle."

"This too was my first exposure to Izzy's delightful antics. She's really quite sweet, despite all of her self-critical frowning. What I'll remember most, is the joyful welcoming atmosphere she brings to the venue. It's like being at a pool party with a big celebrity, who is not, in the least, self-conscious.
Big smiles were had by all. And I think it's good that a topless woman can feel good while making her "friends" laugh while trying out wedding dresses or not."
