OUT OF MY SKIN

* * * * * FIVE STARS
As the final installment of Shannan Calcutt's hilarious clown trilogy Out of My Skin opens, Izzy is a little out of her head over the loss of her wedding dress, stolen from her car last summer in a real break-in, in Winnipeg.
Izzy is crying as she walks topless onto a stage strewn with donated wedding dresses. "I'm not the same person without that dress," she sniffles. Then moments later, she adds, with that familiar look of mischevious innocence, "I'm a little dangerous without that dress," generating a wave of laughter which will not cease for almost an hour.
The Arborg native exposes her prodigious comedic talents as she did in Burnt Tongue and It's Me, Only Better, but this time bares far more of herself in what is her greatest stage triumph yet. Her synchronized swimming team is a hoot, but her attempt at breast enlargement has to be seen to be believed. Aisle sitting males should be forewarned about the possibility of being chosen by Izzy for a trip to audience participation hell.
